About Amsterdam Centraal Station
Situated in the heart of the city, Amsterdam Centraal (or Amsterdam Central Station) is one of the busiest transit facilities in the entire world. It’s a crucial part of the train network in not only the Netherlands but Europe as a whole. There are plenty of long-distance trains connecting Amsterdam with cities like Munich, Paris, and even London. Amsterdam Centraal is also a hub for local transit options like trams, buses, and the local metro. For travelers, some of Europe’s most renowned museums and landmarks are within a brisk walk or quick metro ride from Centraal.
Considering how compact and accessible everything is, getting around quickly is a must in Amsterdam. Reliable luggage storage is just one way to make your trip easier and more enjoyable. And with locations all over the city, like the spot at Orlyplein 1 - 67, the choice is yours for where to store your luggage. Here’s how you can securely and conveniently store luggage with Bounce:
How to pay for luggage at Amsterdam Centraal Station
- Our app makes it easy: Making a reservation with the Bounce website or mobile app can be done in minutes. Each bag can be stored for an up-front flat rate.
- Secure transactions: Dropping the bag off will be an entirely cashless exchange, and payment through the app is completely secure.
- Guaranteed luggage storage: Because you book ahead of time and are confirmed, you're guaranteed to have a place to store your bags. So there's no worrying about train station lockers being fully occupied.
How luggage storage is different from train station luggage lockers
- We can store any size of item: Lockers have a finite space, and most of the time this is rather small. For travelers with larger bags and specialty items, we can accommodate your stuff. When you rent a locker, you don't have this flexibility (even large lockers have limits).
- Flexible timing: You’re paying for a 24-hour storage period, so there's no watching the clock to make sure you get back to your locker in time. You can also adjust your booking on the fly based on your unique travel plans.
- Enviable security: Traditional luggage storage options like train station lockers almost never have any security measures. Bounce only partners with fully secure facilities, and utilizes tools like QR codes to ensure the customer has access to their belongings and you never have to remember your locker number.
- Extended accessibility: Bounce facilities are generally open between 9 AM and 8 PM, with some even operating 24/7. These opening hours offer more flexibility than museum lockers ever can! You can also reserve a Bounce location near multiple attractions to make your sightseeing more efficient.
