About Flinders Street Station
Melbourne Flinders Street Station is the city’s most important transportation hub and the busiest in Victoria. This Melbourne terminus is by far the most common destination for commuters reaching Melbourne CBD (Central Business District, for non-Aussies) and a valuable resource for tourists looking to take the city’s trams to various destinations. It’s fairly photogenic, as well. Having opened in 1854, the station’s handsome Baroque facade and location overlooking the Yarra River make for a lovely first impression of Melbourne.
As a bonus, there's incredible sightseeing nearby. Flinders Street Station luggage storage through Bounce is always convenient and when you drop the bags off at our main spot at Elizabeth Street 97-103, you'll be off exploring in no time. We also have other locations around Melbourne, so it’s easier than ever to get out into Australia's most intriguing city.
