Allstate Arena Bag Policy: A Guide to the Details

Allstate Arena, Rosemont, IL

Located in Rosemont, Illinois is Allstate Arena, a multi-purpose entertainment venue that can host a wide array of events. Opened in 1980, it's a bit older compared to some of the newer massive complexes across the country. Allstate Arena only seats 18,000, but that allows fans to feel closer to the action, and there is certainly no shortage of noise and excitement during events.

Rosemont is on the northwest side of Chicago, which is the state's most populous city. Chicago attracts plenty of tourists throughout the year, so a short trip to the Allstate Arena while in the city is no big deal.

Allstate Arena is currently the home ice for the AHL's Chicago Wolves, and the home court for Northwestern and DePaul's men's basketball teams. Besides these teams, the stadium also hosts concerts, comedy shows, large WWE shows, and more. It's certainly not the biggest stadium or arena in the Chicago arena, but the lineup of performances, talent, and sports doesn't disappoint. It can also be easier to get tickets to events held in this stadium versus bigger ones in Chicago.

For those flying into Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Allstate Arena is just a short drive away. And while we're talking about other locations, a trip to the Chicago area can also include sightseeing, dining, shopping, exploring, and more. You may want to include attractions such as Navy Pier, The Art Institute of Chicago, Lincoln Park Zoo, Riverwalk, Shedd Aquarium, and the Museum of Science and Industry.

But before you get caught up in the excitement at the Allstate Arena, we want to be sure you're prepared. Here's a look at the bag policy, approved bags, and additional tips and information.

All bags and jackets will be searched before entering the stadium.

There are exceptions to the bag policy for medical needs and medical bags, as well as diaper bags for families. These bags approved for entry will still need to be searched by security personnel.
