Nissan Stadium Bag Policy: Key Details
Nashville is often named a top tourist destination not just in Tennessee, but in the US. It's made a name for itself in the country music industry, but that's not the only reason to visit this vibrant city. If you're a fan of the NFL then you've got to get yourself tickets to a game at Nissan Stadium. The massive stadium seats almost 70,000 fans and is home to the Tennessee Titans. Even if football isn't your thing, Nissan Stadium has a revolving door of exciting acts, shows, concerts, and other types of sports.
Overlooking the Cumberland River, Nissan Stadium is perfectly situated for those who want to explore on foot. Its location near Nashville’s bustling downtown core makes it ideal for dining and nightlife adventures pre or post-game. If you’re heading into town for a game or show, you’ll want to find time to explore bustling areas like The Gulch, Midtown, and Downtown.
Like many venues these days, security measures have called for strict bag policies at Nissan Stadium, so it’s advisable to plan ahead. If you’re visiting Nashville and are stuck with your bags, you're going to need us for temporary bag storage. But before we jump ahead, let's take a look at the Nissan Stadium bag policy and other important rules.
Nissan Stadium Bag Policy
There are some bags approved for entry, but stadium staff strongly encourage guests to arrive light, preferably with no bags. Arriving with no bags means you'll make it through the Nissan Stadium gates quickly and smoothly. For those who need to bring personal items with them, the NFL clear bag policy is in full effect here.
Fans can bring in a clear bag but it cannot exceed 12 x 12 x 6 inches. One-gallon Ziploc bags are acceptable in terms of size. Smaller bags that are less than 4.5 x 6.5 inches don't have to be clear plastic. Non-transparent bags can also be placed inside a clear plastic bag.
As per the Nissan Stadium bag policy, all bags are subject to inspection by security personnel.
Any type of clear plastic bag is permitted, as long as it doesn't exceed 12 x 12 x 6 inches. This includes clear cinch sacks, clear diaper bags, clear bags the size of a small purse, and so on. This bag policy is in place for Tennessee Titans home games and all other non-sporting events. All oversized bags will need to be stored off-site, which means you need to have a plan in place.
