Place des Halles

One of the most visited shopping areas in Strasbourg is Place des Halles, located near Place Kléber and Strasbourg central train station. Every year around 14 million people visit this terrific commercial shopping center. Built in 1979 on the ruins of the old synagogue in Strasbourg, the mall is an attraction on its own.

There are many bars and restaurants, as well as over 120 stores of leading international brands such as Mango, Clazedonia, C&A, New Look, Stratus, Kiko, Sephora, Zara, Yves Rocher and more. The two main department stores in Strasbourg Galerie Lafayette and Printemps are located not far from Place Kleber offering a variety of goods. FNAC

Get ready for fun Strasbourg shopping. Located on Place Kléber in the city center of Strasbourg near Homme de Fer tram stop, you will find the best spot for shopping for books, games, movies, electronics, home & design, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, and a lot more! The mall covers a retail area of 37,670 square feet and the shops are spread across three floors with escalators.

The shopping center is always busy, so be prepared to wait in long lines for the checkouts. If you are lucky, you may be on time for one of the wide selection of events the Fnac Spectacles organizes.

Rivetoile

Rivetoile shopping center is a building complex located near the Place de l'Étoile in the Bas-Rhin (Lower Rhine) region. The area has gone through redevelopment and today it is an urban environment that the city of Strasbourg hopes to make the new heart of the city. Popular buildings nearby are the André-Malraux media library, the former Seegmuller armament, and the City of Music and Dance.

Rivetoile shopping center is built on the site of former harbor areas. Opened in 2008, the mall features over 85 shops and restaurants, with exclusive brands and well as the favorite Zara, Desigual, Mango, Gap, Bershka, Guess, H&M, Okaidi, Parfois and Pull and Bear among others. Avoid visiting Rivetoile over the weekend as it gets pretty busy, especially in the restaurants with outdoor terraces by the water.

Cathedrale Strasbourg

La Nouvelle Douane (Farmers Market)
