Shopping Centres

Le Corti Venete

Located 10 minutes from the historic center is one of the most modern shopping centres in Verona, Le Corti Venete. It houses 70 shops and services selling merchandise for any age and every budget. You will find brands like Zara, H&M and Bata selling clothing, shoes and accessories, but also Sportler if you need sportswear, Euronics for electronics, and many more.

Even the market IPER - Le Grande is located inside the mall with an excellent variety of food and beverages at great prices, especially pasta. Customers can take advantage of the free Wi-Fi anywhere in the mall. You will also find a great food court with plenty of food options and a cute playground area for the youngest visitors.

If you want to avoid the crowds, it is best to visit on a Sunday.

La Grande Mela Shoppingland

Much like all Italians, Veronese people love to dress well, and most do their shopping in the city malls. Another shopping centre you should take a trip to on your stay in Verona is La Grande Mela. This mall looks more like a theme park from the outside.

With plenty of stores, small boutiques, restaurants, snack bars, coffee shops, a large market and even a cinema and a gaming room, the mall attracts tourists of any age. If you are traveling with children, there is a large entertainment zone on the 3rd floor where the entire family can have a little fun in the Grand Canyon Disco Bowling.

There are over 120 shops selling a mix of merchandise starting from home accessories and furniture to fashion clothes, jewelry and shoes. Most popular brands include Swarovski, Timberland, Benetton, Intimissimi, Diamonds&Co and Foot Locker. The largest stores are Comet, selling anything from electronic and household appliances and Pittorelo with trendy shoes and accessories for the entire family. The largest retail area is reserved for OBI, a gardening, home and building center.

Grand'Affi Shopping Center

Located near Bardolino on Lake Garda, at the Autostrada exit, you will find a not-so-popular mall, but a very important shopping place for the area. If you happen to be in this area, you can check it out on a rainy day. The mall opened its doors in 1995 and originally had only 40 shops. In 2013 a new level was added with 43 more stores as well as an underground car park.

There is a large variety of goods, and brand names like Sephora, Tezenis, Tally Weijl, Stroili Oro, Pelicano, OBI, Motivi, Mancini Sport, and more! You will also find a food court with a good choice of food, plenty of eating spots, including a bakery, but coffee stops too. There is a large market that sometimes has great deals on cheese, wine and local food like pasta.

Prices are reasonable, a little less than what you will find in the city centre.

Shopping Streets

Via Mazzini

One of the main shopping streets is Via Mazzini, the road that connects the city's main squares Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe. Walking along this narrow pedestrian street you will find designer stores, bookstores, souvenirs and grocery shops aligned on both sides. Locals and tourists alike come here to purchase Italian wine and local food, but also leather goods, silk, accessories, clothing, or to grab a bite at one of the many eateries, so the street can get really busy, especially in the summer.

Famous brands you will find on Via Giuseppe Mazzini are Italian designers Armani, Gucci, and Dolce and Gabbana, but also French designers Coco Chanel and Louis Vuitton, and other international brands like Benetton, and of course smaller specialty boutiques. Walking on the marble floor adds to the high-end shopping. Everyone wanting to feel classy on their stay in Verona should definitely take a walk along Via Mazzini. Corso Santa Anastasia

If you are a luxury shopper you will be thrilled shopping on Corso Santa Anastasia. It is a famous street in the historic center known for the most luxurious and expensive stores in Verona. The best shopping in Verona is concentrated on the main streets located in the historic center. The good part is that they are all close and connected. You won't go wrong if you find yourself standing or walking on any of the following streets: Via Pellicciai, Via Cappello, Via Roma, Corso Porta Borsari and Corso Sant’Anastasia.

Ideal for frugal shoppers, the Fashion District Mantova Outlet is one of the most famous in the area, selling high-quality designer names with prices up to 80% off. But don't expect to find haute couture designers like Gucci, Prada and Versace.

Upim

Upim is a nine-story department store that is home to all kinds of brands but famous ones. Located on Via Capello, near Juliet's House, this is the ultimate department store for everyone visiting Verona. Founded in 1928, this store in the centre of the city has been a big part of local's everyday life for nearly a century.

It is an ideal place for families shopping style for reasonable prices. From kids' clothing, man's and woman's fashion, cosmetics and homeware to souvenirs and bags, Upim is one of the best shopping places in the city worth spending your money in. It is open Monday to Sunday from 9 am till 8 pm.

La Bottega Art & Chocolate

This is not an outlet nor a department store – it's a lot different than that. La Bottega Art and Chocolate is set on Vicolo Cavalletto, near Piazza delle Erbe, and is a must-visit chocolate boutique in Verona. For all those with a sweet tooth, this is the only place in Verona worth getting your daily sugar fix at. From truffles and pralines from famous Italian chocolatiers like Venchi and Domori, not only you will get chocolates, but you'll get art in a chocolate too.

The most popular treats are their strawberry truffles in the summer and pumpkin pralines in the fall. While visiting, stop by the shop that serves coffee, and order a delicious latte to go with your chocolate dessert. This sweet treasure in the city centre is open every day of the week, starting at 7.30 am Monday to Friday, and 9 am on the weekends and stays open till midnight except for Wednesdays when it closes the doors at 3. 30 pm.

Markets

Piazza delle Erbe

 Placed on Piazza delle Erbe there is an outdoor daily market that sells anything from herbs, antiques, unique jewelry, vintage items, old paintings, books and everything you don't get to see in the malls. Prices are reasonable, particularly for tourists who love buying their souvenirs from this colorful market in the heart of Verona. If you happen to be on Piazza delle Erbe on Saturday morning, you will also find a large flea market situated in the football stadium that is open from 8 am-2 pm.

Piazza San Zeno

If you are looking for more bargains in Verona, head to Piazza San Zeno where every third Saturday of the month you will find a huge flea market where you can spend your money on antique jewelry, vintage clothes, postcards, stamps, and even vintage cars.
