Things to do near Nuevos Ministerios
Museo Nacional del Prado
The collection of art here was originally the Royal Collection and was entirely private. Today, the collection has been made available to the public. The works of art are both Spanish and by masters from around the world, and range in age from the 12th century to the early 20th century. The Spanish Royal Family did not share this collection for many years and managed to accrue many excellent examples of different painting styles from all around Spain and across Europe.
Museo Nacional del Prado bag policy
The museum requires that you leave your bags in the cloakroom before looking at the art. The luggage lockers here are not typically big enough for large luggage and there is no protection for your bags when you use them, unlike when you use a Bounce luggage deposit location. You can count on Bounce for Madrid luggage storage for fair prices. We make it easy to visit churches, museums, and UNESCO World Heritage site locations as you explore Madrid.
Church of Our Lady of the Marvelous (Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas - Comunidad de Sant'Egidio)
Founded in 1624 and named after a miracle in which the resident nuns found an image of baby Jesus in the garden, this is one of the most beautiful buildings in all of Madrid. The mysterious, gothic design of the building is truly striking and it stands out from its neighboring buildings quite clearly.

If you cannot access the palace during your visit, you will still be able to take pictures of this beautiful building, which is quite striking even from the outside.
