Luggage Storage Near Itaewon Antique Furniture Street
Located inside Itaewon is one of the trendiest places to find antiques. The Itaewon Antique Furniture Street was the first area in Korea to sell antiques. It began in the 1960s as a place where the United States soldiers sold their furniture before heading back. Soldiers would set their furniture out on the street to sell, and this created Itaewon Antique Furniture Street. Today, there are over 100 different shops dotted along the street. Some of these shops will even rent out furniture for those looking to try furniture out for a time before buying.
Visit in October and come to the Itaewon Antique Festival. People flock to the Itaewon Antique Furniture Street to watch street performers, nibble on delicious dishes from food vendors, and of course, shop for those one-of-a-kind finds. If you cannot make it to Itaewon during October, be sure to visit the Itaewon Antique Furniture Street during the weekend when the area hosts its famous Weekend Flea Market.
