Singapore’s MRT (Mass Rapid Transport) is a railway system that connects over 130 stations across 6 lines. The trains operate from 5:30 am to midnight each day, and come every 2 to 7 minutes. Passengers can pay the train fare by purchasing tickets at the station, by using a transit card which can be topped up shops throughout the city, or through mobile wallets such as ApplePay.
The MRT connects to some of Singapore’s most popular neighborhoods, one of which is the area surrounding Bugis Station. The Bugis Station stop is located on Victoria Street, next to the Bugis Junction Shopping Mall.
