Amsterdam Dance Event 2024 

Amsterdam brings you something exciting and welcomes you to the Amsterdam Dance Event, a five-day electronic music conference and festival!

It all started modestly in 1996 as a three-day event. Initially, it gathered 300 delegates and 30 DJs. The daytime conference took place at De Balie, while the nighttime events were held across three venues: Paradiso, Melkweg, and Club Escape. Now, the ADE Festival is considered to be the largest club festival in the world, attracting over 400,000 electronic music enthusiasts and 2,500 artists who perform at 200 different locations all over Amsterdam. Alongside the ADE Festival, this event organizes conferences at ADE Pro, ADE Technology, ADE University, ADE Beamlab, ADE Green, ADE Sound Lab, and ADE Beats, making it Europe's leading electronic music conference. 

Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation organizes this lively event, which starts on Wednesday, October 16, and ends on Sunday, October 20.

Weather

The weather predictions for ADE 2024 say you can expect cool and rainy days and nights, with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 16°C (54°F to 61°F) during the day and from 7°C to 10°C (45°F to 50°F) during the night. It can feel chilly if you’re not used to such temperatures, so bring a jacket!

Tickets

There are different types of tickets:

• ADE Pro Pass: €650 - this is the price for all five days, and with this ticket, you can attend all festival events
• ADE Lab Pass: €79 - with this ticket, which is valid for four days, you have access to the Lab Pass Conference program, where you can show your music, get feedback, and participate in music contests
• ADE Green: €125 - this ticket is valid on Friday, and with it, you have full access to the ADE Green program, with panels, workshops, and interactive programs
• ADE Beats: €45 - with this ticket, valid on Saturday, you can access conferences for hip hop, bass, and beats, with music workshops, panels, and interactive sessions

Security Protocols

• Bag checks - All bags are going to be checked at the entrance.
• Security and police presence - The security and police will be there to guide the crowd and make sure everyone is safe.
• ID check - Be sure to bring your ID.
• Forbidden items: Sharp or any kind of dangerous objects aren’t allowed.
• Large bags: Large bags may not be allowed or will be inspected. It's better to bring just the essential stuff.
• Oversized backpacks: Larger backpacks are also not allowed.

• Bike: Since Amsterdam is a bike-friendly city, it is very convenient to go there by bike, which you can rent. There will be bike parking spots across all venues.
