The very first edition saw 45,000 visitors. Since then, it’s welcomed icons like Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, and French President Emmanuel Macron, who unveiled the “French Tech Initiative” in 2017.

In 2024, VivaTech went even greener with the debut of the Impact Bridge – a 1,500m² area for startups solving the world’s biggest challenges. That same year, VivaTech earned ISO 20121 certification for its sustainability standards.
