Yes, but they're not always the best option. Luggage lockers can fill up quickly and may be unavailable when you need them. Some luggage lockers may be too small to fit large or bulky items. Unlike luggage lockers, we don't charge per hour and instead charge a flat rate for 24 hours of storage. We also have partners who watch over your stuff to make sure it's safe, and can answer any questions you may have or give you advice on what to do in Jerash.
We only partner with trusted businesses who have a dedicated, secure place to keep your luggage safe. Some businesses may store luggage behind a counter that's off-limits to customers, while others may have storage rooms or closets for your luggage. But no matter where you choose to leave your luggage, our partners will keep it safe.
Yes, but many companies charge per hour and costs can add up fast. We charge one price for 24 hours of storage, so storing your stuff is more affordable in Jerash.

One of those is Jerash, known for the remains of the Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa, which dates back almost 2000 years. Needless to say, this is an incredible location to explore for history lovers.
But the modern city of Jerash also offers some great activities, both in the city center and elsewhere. The key to getting the most out of this place is to make use of luggage storage spots where you can store luggage and travel light. Finding the perfect baggage storage makes it much easier to get the most out of your trip to Jordan.

Visiting the ancient ruins of Gerasa is THE thing to do in town. After all, these are some of the best preserved Roman remains anywhere in the world outside of Italy itself. You could easily spend a full day or more exploring the many beautifully preserved buildings of this Roman town, and it takes at least a day to get to grips with the complex history here.
However, Jerash is a modern city where people have lived their lives for hundreds of years since the collapse of the Roman Empire. There's plenty to do here, historical or not, and it's all much easier to enjoy if you take advantage of luggage storage in the city center and beyond.
Jerash Archaeological Museum: Opened in 2019, this modern museum is the perfect place to get to grips with the complicated past of the city. The artifacts here go back way before the Romans to Neolithic times and carry right on through to the late Islamic age, so you'll learn more about the different periods of the city's history.
Roman ruins: The ruins of Gerasa are Jordan's most important Roman site and constitute an entire ancient city frozen in time. You'll need a full day to explore the temples, civic buildings, and houses here, and it's about as close as you'll get to a time machine.
Aljoun Castle: For something a little bit different, visit this fascinating 12th-century castle just outside the city. After a day spent exploring the Roman ruins, this provides a great place to learn more about slightly more recent but still-ancient history and understand Jordan's past beyond the Roman era.
Shopping in Jerash can be whatever you want it to be, from haggling in the local bazaar to browsing the air-conditioned stores of a modern shopping mall. If you buy more than you intended to, don't worry. Leave your new purchases behind in a convenient luggage storage so you can enjoy the rest of your trip and pick up your new purchases whenever you want.
Jerash Mall: If you're looking for a North American shopping experience, you'll find it here. This mall has a grocery store along with lots of fashion outlets and stores selling electronics, toys and games, and anything else you might need on your trip.
Sameh Mall: Located closer to the archaeological site, this smaller mall has slightly higher prices to take advantage of tourists in a bind, but it does a good job of providing everything you're likely to need on your trip.
Pluma: This café and confectionery store is the perfect place to pick up a sweet treat. Beautifully handcrafted chocolates, locally harvested honey, and other delicious items are on offer here, and they all make great souvenirs of your trip to Jerash.
Along with Jordanian cuisine, Jerash has a good range of international restaurants thanks to its popularity with tourists. Whatever you like to eat, you can probably find at least some version of it here. Don't forget to leave your bags behind at a luggage storage, as the restaurants here tend to be small, family-run businesses that don't have a lot of space for large bags.
Old Roman Restaurant: Located in the archaeological site itself, this restaurant is impossible to miss. Unsurprisingly, it also gets quite busy. However, it is convenient if you're exploring the ruins, and the buffet-style dining makes it easy to choose something you like.
Artemis: This restaurant serves a crowd-pleasing combination of Jordanian and Middle Eastern food along with more international dishes. Chow down on dishes cooked in a traditional Turkish kettle or enjoy the impressive selection of barbecue on offer.
86 Grill: Occupying a sleek contemporary space, this local restaurant provides a range of classic Jordanian and Middle Eastern dishes guaranteed to wake up your taste buds. With menus in English, it's a great place to try something new.
There's more to Jerash than just its wonderful Roman city, as travelers here soon discover. The hotels here have all the amenities you want, like free private parking, room service, a private bathroom, and a flat-screen tv. Plus, you'll spend so much time exploring this fascinating place that where you end up staying won't matter that much anyway.
